Popped in on the off chance there would be a table for 3 , for Sunday Lunch. I was greeted by a friendly and pleasant manager, who was helpful and offered a table right away . We each ordered the vegetable Wellington , which was beautifully cooked as were the veg, Yorkshires and roast potatoes . Good portion size and great value for money . The service from the waiter was polite and nothing was to much trouble , Even when I had difficulty using the card machine to pay for the meal. In all, a relaxing and enjoyable time
Haven't had much luck with a beefeater. ..but dropped our daughter at a concert and didn't really want to leave the area, so decided to 'chance it'. Was proved wrong. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and most importantly lovely food . Nicly presented, Hot and tasty .

I came to this restaurant at a moments notice and was instantly greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. I informed the staff about my dairy free diet and they couldn’t do enough to accommodate my requirements. I was put at ease straight away and the chef was bought out to discuss alterations that could be made to my food. I am so grateful for all the effort that was made on my behalf and always recommend the hengist to friends. Thank you very much for putting me at ease and making my visit an enjoyable one
Went to Hangout on a smartbox gift for high tea. Found the decor where we sat a bit dark. Restaurant staff were excellent, polite, attentive but not intrusive. The high tea was all we could ask for. The waiter reckons the Sunday roast is to die for !!! We'll certainly give it a go!!!

poppy fields is a very popular place. Food is very good. staff always want to please you. clean and happy environment. lots of outside space to eat or kids to have a little run around. parking area good. i personally love ut there.
Such a lovely place, I loved the pub garden. The menu had so much variety and it wasn't really expensive. Food and service was fantastic. I would definitely go back

Don't judge a book by its cover..it serves up the most delicious curries! Ordered the Chicken Balti and it was divine (bf kept nicking mine) but it was the nan bread that brought the dishes together. It was fresh and baked just the right way (slightly char coaled). It's not a full star review as it can get very cramped and I could barely move in my seat with my belongings hanging from my chair. Music was awesome though! Very authentic.
Good food, but slow service. Fine if you're happy to wait.

Wow! We went here for my daughter's birthday yesterday and had a fantastic evening with amazing food and great service. The staff were really welcoming and helpful. They even surprised us with a birthday cake for our daughter which was a lovely touch and really appreciated. For anyone reading old reviews, I think the restaurant might be under new management as the name, interior and menu have changed recently(although, to be fair, we only ever used Tandoori Palace for takeaway a couple of times and we thought the food was lovely). Either way, based on our experience, we couldn't recommend Kathmandu Palace highly enough. What's more, we now have an excellent local takeaway.
Got takeaway from here, the staff were so lovely and welcoming. While we waited they offered us free traditional Nepalese beers which was a nice touch. The food was delicious, the best Indian I’ve had for a long time. It was not too greasy and it was good value for money. I will definitly be returning!!

One of the best Chinese takeaways in the area. Ordered from here last night - food was piping hot and didn’t wait long. No issues at all. Had tried another take away from an expensive restaurant not far from here and this beats it hands down!! Food tastes great!!
This Chinese is one of the best in the ME20 locality, consistently delivers quality food every time. I highly recommend you try for yourself. Now that we have found the Ho Lap Chinese we are staying with them. Not the cheapest but definitely the best. .

Why do i like dragon boat? Ill tell you why, its got chinese food and i like chinese food. All you have to do is pick sone numbers, like the lottery, then give the lady behind the counter some money, like the lottery, and then you wait a bit and get some chinese food, which is better then the lottery cause all you get is a bit of paper with some numbers on it.

Excellent place to take the kids, although outdoor play needs attention!! Service has been good, as its pretty much do it yourself. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Most important food...eaten here twice in 2 months and both times food has been lovely & hot.

We’ve been in twice now, the owner and ladies working are so friendly and welcoming! Took in my Grandmother and Toddler and both were very well looked after! 3 meals came to £15 So we definitely can’t complain! Will be back again 🙂

Have been going here for over 10 years. Quality, fresh fish and delicious chips. Tiny criticism based on personal preference: I would like the vinegar ("brewed condiment") to be mixed stronger. Order cod here and you get cod! Not always the case, I've found elsewhere. Excellent, friendly, professional staff to take orders.
Best fish and chip plaice in proximity to Snodland I appreciate the friendly service and the extremely grateful attitude of the owner and employees we frequent here often and shall return many times to come plus the curry sauce is quite nice

Was surprised at the quality of Sunday roast it was excellent. 5 different veg plus roast and mashed potatoes with Yorkshire pudding all cooked and presented beautifully. It really was.delicious. I will definitely be returning. Staff were friendly and efficient. My only criticism is the wine by the glass absolutely awful. Please offer decent wines it really does make a difference to a good meal.
I dropped in with 6 other cyclists. We were welcomed warmly and encouraged to bring our bikes through and onto the outside dining area. The food was good and came quickly. The young man behind the bar was very friendly and efficient.

Had some teething problems over the years but i've been going to the Wealden Hall regularly for the last year and the service is now consistent enough to leave a review. The building is beautiful, the car park is enormous, the patio area is large and inviting and the inside is comfortable. Beer is always nice and priced average to slightly over average depending on what you drink. Food has come a long way recently. I'd describe it as very similar to a Weatherspoons menu but 50% nicer across the board. Anyone looking for a pub grub meal will be very satisfied. Service at the bar is usually great, the only real flaw of this pub is how busy it can be at times. Trying to order a drink and/or food t the bar can take 15 or more minutes sometimes just due to the amount of people in the pub. Avoid peak times and you'll have a nice experience here.

Lovely friendly pub with some great food. Food always hot and quite big portions. Sunday lunch is great value. Beer always good (not a lager man) and friendly people. Music usually at weekends.
We moved to Snodland 2yrs ago and have tried several pubs in the area but the Freemasons is the best by far. Good selection of beers and the food is good, honest pub grub. Tasty, filling and VERY reasonably priced.
